God rescued us from the dark,
The power that night has done;
To the kingdom we embark,
That has been ruled by the Son.
Jesus Christ has paid the price,
To free us from all the sin;
Because for His sacrifice,
They have been wiped clean within.
The image of the Father,
First born of all creation;
Adopted as His Brother,
Upon conciliation.
He made the Heaven and earth,
All that is seen and unseen;
Living things as given birth,
All that is now and has been.
Whether they are lords or kings,
With presidential powers;
All of our living things,
Have traits that God endowers.
He existed prior to,
All that you can see and hear;
Then held together like glue,
Bonded as it does appear.
He is the beginning and,
The first to come back to life;
First in hell where He did stand,
And was able to beat strife.
Through Jesus, God is well pleased,
To have Himself live in Christ,
Through Him, we have been appeased,
Because He was sacrificed.
