Lord God,

As I pray to you now, I am surrounded by enemies,

Some of them endlessly mock and humiliate me,

Some of them are plotting to damage my reputation,

Some of them have made false accusations against me,

Some of them are seeking to undo all the hard work I have done,

Some of them even desire my physical harm,

But Lord, I thank you for your continual care and protection,

You watch over all of our steps,

And any attack against your church is also an attack against you,

So I pray for your protection now over my current situation,

I pray for the plots of my enemies,

Please frustrate these plots and prevent them from coming to fruition,

I pray that whatever efforts my enemies have made to cause harm,

Please use them as part of your good plans to bring blessing instead,

Convict my enemies of the foolishness of their evil,

And change their hearts so that they would repent of their wicked ways,

I pray also that you would teach me to respond with grace where evil has been done to me,

Teach me Lord to love these enemies,

And to seek to do good to them wherever possible,

I pray that I would not be overcome by bitterness and resentment towards them,

But that you would empower me Lord to show mercy,

I pray that you would watch over my enemies Lord,

And that you would bring healing to their lives,

Especially for the past injuries and hurts they have experienced,

That may be part of the reason why they are hurting others now,

Lord, although it is right that my enemies should be held to account for their actions,

And that justice would be done,

I also pray that they would find forgiveness in Jesus,

So that as I respond to them in love and mercy,

They would be convicted of their wrongdoings,

And would come to know and put their faith in Christ.
