“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
-1 Peter 5:7
Wouldn't it be nice if our daily walk with the Lord was more like a dog living with a dog lover? Dogs don't worry about tomorrow. They don't fret about the economy or world politics. They take food and water when they can get it. They run and play when they are outside. They are devoted to their masters and always full of joy when they can spend time with them.
Lord, there are so many things in this world that I needlessly worry about and cling to. May my thoughts, my love, and my cares be firstly upon You. I know You will take better care of me than I could myself.

Bill, this was such a sweet and simple devotional. Lovely little message that I enjoyed so much. There's also something about dogs that I never realized until we had one, and that's their unconditional love to their "family". No grudge-keeping at all. With love, Deb
