A Stroll Through the Valley

Walk with me as I go
There are things you must know
Into the darkness that lays before me
Take a stroll through the valley

It is no pleasure that I seek
As I walk down from this peek
It is a trial before me I see
Take a stroll through the valley

Tribulation will come my way
But hope is victorious this day
For God is always with me
As I stroll through the valley



Brothers and Sisters,

We all go through valleys in our walk of life. We have highs and we have lows, but one thing remains constant...we are never alone.

God is with us and carrying us. Nobody wants to go through a trial or tribulation, but followers of Christ know that we must in order to grow. Armed with the knowledge that Our Savior is there with us, comforting us, guiding us we no longer have to crawl or struggle through the valley. We can take the Lord's hand and stroll.

As I was post this I received a phone call from a friend who is entering a valley of his own. He just received word that his mother has been diagnosed with Thyroid cancer with a grim prognosis. I am in prayer for my friend and all of his family and I ask that all the faithful come together in prayer for this family.
