I REJOICE IN JESUS
I rejoice in Jesus Christ
The lover of my soul
Fresh each day, manna from heaven
Enough to make me whole.
Bread of Heaven, Living Water
Sustenance Supreme
Fellowshipping moment by moment
A life that is serene.
When interruptions momentarily
Come to make their call
I send a prayer to my Master
He knows them one and all.
When laboured about with heavy laden
That seek to bring me down
I call upon the name of Jesus
He loves to hear that sound.
Immediate awareness in the morning
When I awake from sleep
I practice the presence of my Saviour
Who watcheth over His sheep.
Prayer begins its thankfulness
I begin my day with praise
And from that hallelujah chorus
I go about my ways.
The joy of the Lord is my strength
I joy and I rejoice
Not an arbitrary decision
I choose to make that choice.
Happy are the people who know their God
I know Him and I am blest
Put Him "Number One' in your life
Don't settle for second best.
