HAPPY ARE THE SAINTS EACH DAY
Happy are the saints each day
Who sing the songs of Zion
And though the devil goes about
As if a roaring lion.
He cannot gain a foothold there
Where saints do sing and pray
For shielded by Gods' Spirit are we
Who seek to live Gods way.
The sunshine in our soul so bright
It emits a touch from Heaven
Gods' blessing poured upon each child
Who learns this simple lesson.
Not by might nor by power
Child of God now hear it
Our Heavenly Father does His will
Through His Holy Spirit.
His Word all powerful, hammer, rock,
Water, wind and fire
Make your treasure 'There', my friend
None other Friend is Higher!
May the joy of saints abound
Sing ye saints the song
Even so, come Lord Jesus
Our hearts for You, do long.
