It’s not like I’m asking anything outside the scope of God’s will, right?
I just learned of this situation, didn’t I? What choice do I have?
It’s not as if he isn’t capable, is it? He is ready to be revealed, isn’t he?
I mean everyone’s still talking about the dove and the voice from heaven, aren’t they?
You heard he just got back from the desert?
Pardon me? Did he tell me what happened?
Why wouldn’t he? I’m his mother, aren’t I?
After answering all of Satan’s questions and enduring such temptation, can he not help out in this little matter?
Did you hear him answer me back when I told him the wine ran out?
He asked me, his mother, “What has this to do with us?”
I ask you, what doesn’t it have to do with us?
When there’s a need and you have the answer you help out, don’t you?
Of course that’s how I raised my children, didn’t I?
What’s that? Has he always been cheeky?
Hmm, haven’t I told you what he did when he was twelve?
You didn’t hear how he stayed in Jerusalem after we left?
We looked for three days and nights and don’t you think we were scared?
Where do you think we found him?
In the temple asking the priests questions, don’t you know?
They couldn’t answer him, could they?
And guess what he said to us when we asked him how he could do such a thing to frighten us so?
“Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know I have to be in my Father’s house?”
So if he knew that at twelve, why is it not proper for him to help out now?
I mean these are his friends, aren’t they?
Can you see where he went? Over there?
Will you stay here until I get him? Can I trust you to do as he says?
Will you follow his instructions to the letter?
Even if he asks you to do something completely out of the ordinary?
That’s fine then, isn’t it?
Jesus? Jesus?
Yes, mother?
Will you now please tell this faithful servant what to do?
