Great and small
Given freely by His mercy
From His omnipotent hand—
Blessings too many to count
Bees in spring flowers
Buzzing honey-makers
Fat-bellied fuzz balls
Foraging for pollen—
Too many to count
Stars in night sky
Glittering gems
Of luminous sparklers
Glimmering and shimmering—
Too many to count
Waves in the ocean
Rhythmically rolling
In beautiful patterns
Of ceaseless repetition—
Too many to count
Sands on the shore
Forever following the sea
Tiniest particles
Of rocks and minerals—
Too many to count
Flowers in meadows
Sprightly dancers
In spring breezes
Saturating earth with sweet aromas—
Too many to count
Plops of raindrops
On thirsty trees and plants
Cooling refreshing
Painting everything green—
Too many to count
Birds in branches
Colorful choirs
Trilling melodies of joy
To their maker—
Too many to count
God’s gifts to me
Great and small
Given freely by His mercy
From His omnipotent hand—
Blessings too many to count
