Grace found her way to my door,
Inklings of mercy sprinkle my air,
How could I ever want for more?
Prayers are answered in His time,
Graciously, my heart does beat,
My mood abandons life’s troubles,
I lay my burdens at Christ’s feet.
Today grants all I will ever need,
I want not for what is not mine,
Warmth comforts me when I am cold,
Cool breezes blow in the summertime.
Tomorrow sings a brand new song,
With praise for all that is given me,
Grateful for His heavenly bread,
Which makes me all I need to be.
At this moment I feel His peace,
In perpetual thanksgiving,
For all good things are mine to hold,
God provides my source for living.
I am filled with gratitude,
I suffer not from a lack or need,
To complain of what I do not have,
Would only fulfill the sin of greed.
It matters not what the future brings,
The road ahead glitters of gold,
My faith has never let me down,
I fear nothing from growing old.
I look around at all I have,
To live the life I was born into,
There’s not another thing I need,
In this world to see me through.
Serene defines my very life,
As I journey on in existence,
Love defines my heart and soul,
As a spirit without resistance.
Yesterday’s troubles have left me now,
With all that God has greatly bestowed,
For every day that I have known Him,
He continually carries my heavy load.
How could I ever count my blessings?
I long no further for what is past,
My Lord has promised me sweet life,
When I should leave this earth at last.

I loved this and to know what you're currently going through, and yet your inner light never ceases to shine from within to without.
I loved this so much: I am filled with gratitude,
I suffer not from a lack or need,
To complain of what I do not have,
Would only fulfill the sin of greed.
I'm going to print this out and put it into a frame...beautiful, just like you!
God bless you my friend~
When I should leave this earth at last.'
Oh the hope we have! It give us a reason to endure suffering well - for Him who endured well. And plenty of reason to praise Him in the storm.
The road ahead glitters of gold,
My faith has never let me down,
I fear nothing from growing old."
This piece was like the soft, reassuring cadence from one soul to another. Well done!
