Very lovely poem. The overwhelming desire for sleep that won't come is described here beautifully.

A beautiful, we'll written poem. I liked the variety of ways in which the MC was kept awake, but even more I love how Jesus can still the storm and bring restful sleep. Well done.

This is one I can really relate to, as I battle Insomnia myself. I wouldn’t have thought of this for the topic, but it’s perfect as I think of the many nights I lay awake, craving and yearning for sleep. Great job!

I'll have to think about this one. If wanting sleep so badly is lust, then I must confess. I do try to use sleepless night as time to spend with God.

Nicely written poem. Blessings, LaVonne

Aah, insomnia - a problem we can lose a lot of sleep over...
But you have gently given us a lot to think about in this entry. Well done.

Insomnia is something we all experience at some time, so this is relevant to everyone. I have to say, as a mother with young ones, sleeplessness has a lot of ramifications, and can bring one to the edge of sanity! It is certainly a desire. I find I put on the Armour of God during those times, and am usually asleep before I've reached the end article! :)
