I crave the power only he can give,
to help me change and grow,
to be more like the God I know.
To think and speak in tune with him,
to live according to his plan,
to trust he’s always at my side,
to never waiver in my faith,
to rest securely in his hands.

Chorus

May I put my weaknesses aside,
to make room for more.
More of his power to change me,
more of his love to flow through me.
To serve the One I revere and adore,
to reach my corner of the world.
That’s what I hunger for.

Verse 2

I crave the power only he can give,
to help me love and serve,
obey his voice, and live the Word.
To spread some sunshine in this world,
to truly love my fellow man,
to offer help unselfishly,
to share my heart authentically,
sincerely follow his commands.

There is no greater privilege
than to serve a Holy God.
I yearn for his power to fill me,

so others may see
the wonderful God he is.
