Oh, my great goodness. This is so lovely, compelling, and touching. I have been at the end of my rope before, and God spoke to me in a similar way. He reminded me of the people who loved me.

This is absolutely perfect in every way. You have a way of reaching into our souls with your beautiful writing. Thank you so much for reminding me of God's mighty grace and love. Right on topic.

Blessings, Lynn

Boy, you had me on the edge of my seat; it could have gone either way. I do love a happy ending, but I also know that it's not a given. Did you hear me gasp at the start of the paragraph about the rope? I thought it was loud enough for you to hear me across the Great Pond. Oh my, what a well-done drama. Inspirational and powerful. Thank you.
Wow!!! This was one of the best articles I have ever read.

It made me stop and realize how fragile life can be, and how we must face down evil when it looks like we have no choice but to give in.

You should do well with this article. But in my mind it has already won in the eyes of the Lord.

God Bless!

Quietly and gently written, flowing to a huge impact at the end. I loved this.

So glad your MC caught a glimpse of the rivers of living water that flow out through us to others as we allow God's Spirit to satisfy our thirst (John 7:37-9)
Powerfully descriptive - and a positive challenge - for suicide is always a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Very skilful work.
Powerful and unforgettable. The judges should love this, and if they don't? Shame! Thank you . . .

1 Peter 3:15 - But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Tears are flowing down my face. This is brilliant and I think you wrote it with me in mind. You lifted my spirit and my worthiness to others. You have to publish this story so more will see it. I guarantee you will save more lives than you can imagine. Congratulations on ranking 18 overall! Happy Dance!
