This is a fantastic article that hits close to home.

I live in a home owner's association about 25 miles south of Asheville, NC.

I vividly remember about 3-4 years ago where there was a group of homeless folks that had set up a tent city type of community.

These poor folks were harassed by the powers that be in Asheville. When they interviewed the folks that lived in the tent city.

These were folks a lot like you and me.

Your article reminded me very much of this.

I hope that your article will do well with the judges. It is a well written article.

God Bless!

Oh my goodness...this piece stirred a myriad of emotions coursing through me.

Your words allowed the reader to see exactly what went on, the visual was as if I was there. And, the message of their peace consequently the polar opposite of the "intruders" sent shivers down my spine.

Well executed in content, delivery and tone.

God bless~
A well crafted piece, and very relevant to today's homeless. I live in Portland, Oregon - where tent cities abound. Thank you for writing this enlightening piece . . .

I don't know how I missed this before, but it was a fantastic piece, very well deserving of it's top 10 overall placement.

You did a great job with the characters you developed and the voice of your MC. You put me there, at that campfire, and I could hear the stories, feel the warmth and almost see the sparks floating in the air.

Way to really show me your story, Sheldon.
Wow what a powerful story. I couldn't believe the ending. It boggles my mind how horrible humans can be to each other. You did an awesome job. Congratulations on your EC! Happy Dance!

A powerful illustration of contrasting attitudes that you have detailed so clearly in a well-crafted entry. Congratulations on your EC.
