Morning meetings and evening recaps;
Each day starts, ends and revolves in the old dusty shop,
Around an old wood stove.

Men take turns stoking the fire that
Keeps everyone warm throughout the winter.

Problems of the world solved,
Sitting around an old wood stove.

Young men are taught life lessons, and
Broken things are brought back to life
By stained, calloused hands.

Christmas celebrations with lights strung from the rafters.
The tree lit up and decorated.
Food laid out on tables, Blessed by the Pastor
With hats covering sincere hearts.

Family and Friends together again
In the warm Glow, of the old wood stove.
Giving thanks to God
For another year of blessings.

The long winter brings new life to those inside.
Maintaining what they have been given.
Getting ready for planting season.
The chance to regroup and repair
What last season left broken.

Neighbors stop by, and hang out for a while.
Telling tall tales, and sometimes asking for help.

Neighbor to neighbor,
Brother to brother,
Pulling together for each other.

Around that old wood stove,
In the center of that dusty old shop.
The Love of Christ shines
Through the lives of those inside.
