Thousands flocked to the immense secret cave in Transylvania.
After many years 'Most Excellent Majesty' was going to speak about a renewed assault on the enemy. They couldn’t wait. As anticipation grew, the noise of arguing, squabbling and greeting became a deafening racket.
A huge loud gong sounded. In the hush that followed Pride in his best cultured voice announced “All kneel before his Most Excellent Majesty who will now address our gathering”.
Much scuffling and rustling took place as their leader entered swirling his black silk cape, whilst scanning his minions with piercing evil eyes. By the time Most Excellent Majesty was seated on his black throne, elaborately decorated with gargoyles, there was absolute silence. A green tinged light shone down, illuminating his face. Every being was transfixed waiting for his words.
“We are all aware that the main aim of our adversary Jesus, is the development of relationship with him. You will recall I first began the destruction of his plan in the garden of Eden.”
A great cheer arose. Raising his hand for quiet he continued.
“After that Anger, Envy and Murder had their first successful assignment.
Progress has been made over many years. The world wars destroyed families and friendships. Unfortunately, the value of relationship became important to many of those remaining. Since then it has been necessary to be more subtle in destroying this belief. Amusement has been and is proving an effective tool. Television, computers, mobile phones are slowly destroying in-depth relationships. The love of money is growing astonishingly thanks to the good work of
Greed and Selfishness. Both of you tell us what's happening.”
Greed, rising from his knees, bowed low wringing his claw-like hands.
“Your eminence” he simpered “people are more easily persuaded to grasp for themselves when relationships break down. Just a few whisperings of 'you've been hurt you deserve it' or 'why wait, get it now and don't worry about anybody else' soon take root. Its a pleasure...”
“Alright! Alright! Good work!” interrupted Most Excellent Majesty “Selfishness what do you want to add?”
Selfishness stood, nodded his head acknowledging his master and with chest puffed out stated. “The importance of 'me' is bearing fruit in tremendous ways. Continuing to reinforce thoughts that others come second increases grasping natures as well as damaging friendships
and marriages. I will…."
“Enough! Enough! That's excellent! You may both return to your places.”
Contributions from Fear, Deception, Jealousy, Despair, Hatred, Unforgiveness and many more kept the audience enthralled and full of anticipation for a victory in the destruction of relationships.
Until Most Excellent Majesty said
“We now come to the most difficult obstacle in our plans - that is the church”
A shudder went through the listeners.
“It is imperative that continued pressure be applied to this establishment. Therefore, I am appointing Compromise and Apathy to take charge of this particular 'thorn in our flesh'. They are to have the assistance of as many members as required and will report directly to me. Cracks have appeared in the church's dominance and we must take advantage by attacking its weaknesses. For this reason I am giving every single one of you increased power to whisper evil divisive thoughts into the minds of all, including Jesus' followers.
I look forward to seeing the results.”
With cheers ringing in his ears Most Excellent Majesty rose from his throne and with a swish of his cape was gone. His minions also disappeared quickly, anxious to do his bidding.
King of Kings and Lord of Lords, being Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent knew exactly what was occurring in the secret cave and smiled. He also had gathered His trusted warriors around Him.
“Most Excellent Majesty is already defeated although he doesn't know it.” Jesus said confidently.
“As his offensive increases, however, it is important to strengthen our loyal followers on earth. More love for each other and the lost, greater discernment, as well as renewed longing for and obedience to My Word are imperative.
Michael and Gabriel you know how to accomplish this. Stir afresh the incorruptible word in followers hearts. The Holy Spirit will help. Organize and dispatch the troops! Make sure all who have dedicated their lives to me understand I, Jesus, am their friend and nothing can take that away from them, ever. I will never leave them or forsake them.”
In a flash the two angels and followers were gone to prepare for a battle they knew they would win.

I think it would be helpful to brush up on punctuation, particularly the use of commas, as there were a couple of places where the absence of them affected the flow and understanding. There are some great lessons in the forums.
On another note, the idea of relationship here was portrayed as always good. Can there be harmful relationships that serve the evil rather than the good...
