“I’ll wait until tomorrow”, so very often said,
Is not the best formula, for trying to get ahead.
“I’ll get to it later”, is such an arrogant line.
The assumption of later, is not ours to define.
What if the early bird chose to stay in bed?
The worm would escape, baby birds left unfed.
Get up and get moving, while it is still called today.
Opportunity knocks, and God shows us our way.
Consider the sluggard, the scriptures declare!
They’re foolish and lazy, and live in despair.
Be ye steadfast, unshaken, and bold!
Reap a bountiful harvest for when you are old.
Your life has a purpose, you know it as well.
Great adventures and stories will be yours to tell.
Representatives for Christ, with a world asking “Why?”
Is no small task, and we mustn’t be shy.
Rise early and pray! Put a smile on your face!
Great miracles are happening all over the place!
Why do it tomorrow, when the time is right now?
As hard as it seems, you’ll get through it somehow.
Set your mind on Christ, you are His after all.
It is not His desire that any should fall.
Today is a gift, so handle it with care.
Tomorrow will be Heaven! I hope to see you there.
