You know me; Procrastination is my name; I’m the mysterious phenomenon that triggers your senses to --
intentionally wait until tomorrow to do something; It’s your business; you’re secure as long as you trust in your wisdom (Proverbs 3:5-7),
delay so you can make the right decision, you determine what’s best for you; stay loyal to your standards (James 1:8),
think about your hopes for tomorrow, a little apathy and unconcerned is normal, confidence in your abilities is honorable (Isaiah 40:31),
rely on your self-confidence, there’s always another day to get that job done (James 4:14-17)
Choose my counsel! You know you enjoy that surge you feel when those deadlines provoke panic. Hesitating 's in your blood; it’s a habit you've acquired. It’s a recognized route to getting things done, tomorrow.
Trust me, you can get that task done tomorrow; remember the last time, you’ll get it done.
Procrastination

“Wake up, Christian, from your dawdled walk, I am “The Word” that gives you hope and speaks life to you; wisdom is what you need. My Father has called believers to do great exploits in these end times. “The Word” offers counsel.”
“The advice from my brother, James, as he instructed believers is wise, ‘If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask Him be sure your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind,’ (James 1:5-6 (NLT). Loyalties must be in God alone. This is not the time to be wishy-washy. Don’t delay; plunge into God’s plan. Reach out to the lost. Time is short; I’m coming back soon.”
“Remember John, the disciple I loved. He recorded my words that give hope, and encourage all to anticipate my coming. ‘Don’t let your hearts be trouble. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There’s more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you, that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am,’ (John 14:1-3(NLT). Your world has this foolish idea, like the Laodiceans, that their prosperous, self-sufficient lives and their pride in their status in the world are what matters. “The Church” has become casual and uncommitted; this sickens me. You can count on it; I’m coming back soon, so be prepared. I repeat my words that I gave John in the Revelation, I’m coming soon,” (Revelation 22:12 (NLT).
“The world doesn’t recognize what future prophecies hold. Peter, my faithful disciple, gave some important instructions when he wrote his second letter. He wanted everyone to be aware of my returning, ‘You must not forget this dear friends. A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about His promise, as people think. No, He is being patient; for your sake. He does not want any to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. But the Day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief,’ (2 Peter 3:8-10 (NLT). Take to heart these words, my Father and I want everyone to come to repentance and be saved. Your world is unprepared for my coming; the lost must be reached.”
“Believers, it’s your responsibility to be prepared and to help others to be prepared for my coming. From the beginning of my ministry on earth I followed my Father’s plan -- to seek and save those that are lost; (Luke 19:10) I never wavered. When the time came for me to go back to my Father, I commanded my disciples to ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone,’ (Mark 26: NLT). This command still stands for my followers today.
The Word

Delay about winning lost souls isn’t an option for believers. “The Church” must stop being passive and make firm commitments to seek the lost that they may receive the gift of salvation. Fellow believer, do you not see the signs of our times? (Matthew 24). Surely we are living at the end of the age!
Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks…Seize the day,” (Luke 9:62 (MSG). Which counsel do you choose to follow?
