Darkness abound in the depths,
But in His mind was a flame.
An eternal hope for love.
He looked to the end of time,
Beholding the final day.
The joy of those who sought Him,
and the sorrow of the lost.
Watching the last day unfold,
From the moment time began,
He knew the greatest of pains,
The loss, His children turning,
Seeking darkness and desire.
Yet hope remained in motion,
A sacrifice of great love.
Watching from creations dawn,
The beauty of all His work,
The garden, to judgements day.
He saw the trials of man,
And the fall of grace begun.
In that second of forethought,
His delight was before Him.
That moment of clarity
Spellbound by His own heartache,
Torn between great joy and pain,
HE beheld a light of hope,
Turning it slowly in hand.
With the snap of His fingers,
A sound filled the universe.
And that was only the start.
