“...Our Father which art in heaven...” (Matthew 6:9)
Eternal Father, Creator of all, you have given life everlasting through faith in your Son. (John 3:16) Because we have been adopted into the family of God, we call you Father. (Galatians 4:7)
“...Hallowed be thy name...” (Matthew 6:9)
As we walk through life today, may your name be kept holy. We are ambassadors for Christ, therefore Wonderful Counselor, teach us to do all things in a manner worthy of your name. (2Corinthians 5:20)
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)
You have prepared good works to perform through us. What a privilege! (Ephesians 2:10) Empowered by your Spirit, make full use of the gifts you have given us. May we hear you say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21) Keep us alert to every opportunity to tell others about you Jesus. (Mark 16:15) And Lord of the Harvest, send laborers from your Church to reach those souls who still need to hear the Good News. May your church complete the work you have given us to do. (Luke 10:2) Do a mighty work to prepare the hearts of your people, Israel. May Israel call on your name Yeshua and be saved, for your name means salvation. When they cry out for deliverance, hear their prayer, for you have promised that all Israel shall be saved. (Zechariah 12:10, Romans 11:26) Come Lord Jesus, redeem your Church, redeem your people Israel, redeem your creation while you rid the earth of evil. Rule and reign from Jerusalem. For one day every knee will bow and every one will confess that you are Lord. (Isaiah 65:17; Jeremiah 31:33-34; Zechariah 14:16; Philippians 2:10-11) What the world needs now is you, sweet Jesus. The only true God, the only way of salvation, healing and restoration. (John 17:3)
“Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11)
Thank you God for supplying all our need according to your riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19) We stand on the promise of provision. Because we have given portions of all your blessings to support the Saints, we can count on you to give all we need. (Malachi 3:10; Proverbs 3:9-10)
“And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12)
Lord, because you have forgiven us so much, we forgive those who have hurt us in any way. We ask your blessing upon them. All spiritual blessings. May they experience your mercy and your grace. For your mercy is marvelous and your grace is great. Great is thy faithfulness. (Matthew 18:32-33; Romans 12:21; Lamentations 3:21-22)
“And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil...” (Matthew 6:13)
We have hidden your word in our hearts that we may not sin against you. (Psalm 119:11) Empower us to stand firm in truth and righteousness knowing that you are greater in us than the evil in the world. (Ephesians 6:14; 1John 4:4)
“For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:13)
