The title says it all. I love the librarian. What a wonderful character. The bit with the granny shoes was kind of nice, I liked the end best though when she answered "I read". Kudos!
I really enjoyed this story! Delightful contrast between the prim librarian narrator and her fiance's boisterously athletic family.

Beautifully original, creative descriptions and dialogue! My favorite lines: "I'm afraid if I touch the flowers they will wilt from a chemical reaction" and "I belong to this family like a mouse belongs with a herd of elephants."

I also loved the narrator's response to the question of what she does--"I read." That as a title also drew me in, as I'm a bookoholic whose favorite place to visit is any library!
I loved the originality of this story, as well as the characters. I'm with the librarian! I read!
This is such an engrossing story that I just moved right in to your narrator's world. Thank you for giving me a good time out reading, and thank you, too, for commenting on my story.
Very well written story. I enjoyed it very much.
