Previous Challenge Entry (Level 2 – Intermediate)
Topic: BEACH (12/05/19)
I usually bring back fond memories of fun times, though not always, I suppose. Older than all of you, I might be immense, or I might be petit in size. I can be laden with hard rocks and sharp objects or I can be silky smooth. Sometimes I am white and look a lot like a snow-covered meadow. I am beaten every day, yet I never utter a word about it. I reveal treasures but I also lose them. There are many things that put me down, but I just go with the flow and it all works out. I can be tightly packed or loosely blowing, depending on what is going on around me. I might be dark or light or perhaps hot or cold.

I survive both war and peace, always returning to my absolute sameness amidst rage or calm. God made me stable and long-suffering. There are people with me though many stay only for a short while. Crowds stood with me while Jesus taught them from a boat. Laughter and cheers accompany the many games and various forms of recreation that you can enjoy with me.

Birds love me, insects love me, and fish love me; even horses love me. I provide a platform that receives energy, sustenance, power and wealth to share with all of you. I watch little animals scurry about followed by their ever so strange little footprints. Coming to me in your mind brings a welcome respite from your daily grind. It can make you sure that you hear palm branches clapping a rhythm all their own and you will be at peace. Who, or what am I?
