Go! You will love it. Well, I've been through Wilmington on a rainy evening, so not sure about the beach, but did visit nearby Kure Beach. I was visiting family outside of Raleigh, and we did a day trip to that beach. I'm from the west coast, so seeing your beaches is a different experience.
Thanks for sharing your story. Go for sure and reconnect with God's beautiful creation and think of Him as you gaze out to where water and sky become one. Listen to the sound the waves make in praise of God's glory. Look at the beach from a creation perspective and be revived in God's presence with you there. Good story and expression of your heart.
