that I was wonderfully made?
Is my uniqueness really good,
His creativity portrayed?
In His image was I formed?
Me, who feels like the least?
After all the things I’ve done,
invited to His wedding feast?
Are my sins completely paid
so that I’m set free from shame?
Did He give His son for me
so that I am dead to blame?
Did the Lord become a lamb
whose blood was sacrificed?
Did God in human form
allow His skin to be sliced?
Did He really enter hell
once the stone was rolled away?
Is it true He rose to life
after that horrific day?
Was that He on the shore
who appeared to the men,
the disciples in the boat
wondering where He’d been?
Did He really walk on water?
Is it true He healed the lame?
This God who came to earth
called me by my name?
He rose straight up to heaven
and sits as King on high?
He’s with me now and always
until the day I die?
What if we take the time to know
what God has truly said?
What if we trust the Holy One
who’s risen from the dead?
What if we give our lives away
to serve a greater cause?
What if the mighty God above
has given us His laws?
Is this not the best news
that you have ever heard?
Can you also see
my vision’s now not blurred?
The devil speaks his same old lies,
but do you have to heed?
How about trusting Him
to meet your every need?
