I can remember the good times that I had at a weekend camp with my youth group where we sang songs, played some sports, and we did skits. We also had bible study. During my spare time I went upstairs to the top of the barn, and my played the piano. It was a peaceful time for me before I had dinner with the rest of the youth group.
When I recall the bad things that happened in my life, I think of how I was treated in high school. I was bullied, punched in the head, and I was also manipulated for money. I also attended catechism in the church where I attended. A few the kids my group argued about the bible. I dreaded hearing that. There were times where I wished that I had stayed home because there was hardly anything spiritual or uplifting in that group.
I was also manipulated by a neighbor and a friend who took a lot of money from me each month. She promised me a car, but I had never seen one. I can recall that approximately 1000.00 that I gave her all together. She gave me 500.00 of it back. We don't see or talk to each other anymore, but I did phone her back a few years ago saying that I am no longer mad at her anymore. She just told me to take care of myself, and that was it.
Sometimes I read my diary of all the events in which I wrote. The best thing I can do to heal those bad thoughts is to pray to God about the good things that had happened to me.
