Topic: HIKE (07/07/22)
When I pray for better days, I ask myself, and God, "Am I going to reach the path of righteousness?"
Lately I have been going through financial trouble, so my husband and I declared bankruptcy on our vehicle which might need a lot of repairs in the near future. We kept putting new tires every 1 or 2 months. I thought that changing tires that often should not be happening.

Sadly we told our bankruptcy counselor that we had to give up the vehicle because I would have paid for the truck for a couple of years, repairs, and insurance. Even though my husband and I felt sad of losing the vehicle, we got ourselves some bikes. We drove a lot places to the beach, and stores out of town. The gas was so expensive. We paid about 50 dollars a week on gas. I told God that I did not want to keep the vehicle much longer.

Right now, I swim at a pool instead of a lake. I pray the God will lead me to the right direction in getting another vehicle soon. Right now I have to trust in the right path where God wants me to be.

I can see a few takes on the topic. The price hike in gas and vehicle repairs along with going on walks are both good examples of the story. You need to work on smoother transitions. Ask someone to read it aloud and if they stumble those are spots you need to smooth out or check for errors. Consider adding more details and showing emotions with dialog, body language, and thoughts. You have done a nice job of sharing something most everyone can relate to. You have a nice message and I like how you bring the story full circle.

I can imagine the emotional and logical ambivalence the couple have been going through to attain their end or goal towards financial freedom.

I think this is a situation that many can relate to. God does provide answers, solutions and meets our needs in some surprising ways. I would love to see you develop your entry further with more detail that places the reader in your shoes and tugs us to come along on your journey. Thank you for sharing and I pray that you get answer to your prayers soon
