Reflections are interesting things. They change as we change our thoughts. It is a fact that our thoughts can change our bodies, including the way they appear. We have to give up the negative images and replace them with what Jesus says about us. It means we must go against the flow of life around us that would leave us tired, lonely and unloved. When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the law, his face shone brightly, so much so that he had to cover it with a veil, because it scared the people. I believe he was reflecting the light of God’s glory. If we look to Jesus and live a life of worship, people will see His reflection in us as well. It is true that some people will not like it, and some will be afraid of it, but some will desire it with their whole hearts. Our mirrors should reflect people who are at peace, never alone and always loved. Let’s train ourselves to think of what God says about us and look again into the mirror!
