I had moved from one office to another looking for a job in vain. This office was my last hope, but with the rude receptionist my hopes diminished. I was tired and exhausted having spent the past six months trying my luck.in addition I had sent hundreds upon hundreds of emails with no response, not even an email of acknowledgement.
The secretary looked at me from head to toe and with my shoes filled with dust; she knew this was another desperate, tired hustler. She dismissed me without even getting near the door of the manager. I moved out discouraged having lost strength to carry on, questions kept ringing in my mind as to why this was happening. Where was God in all this? I was sure with that kind of an attitude from the receptionist, my application could never get to the manager. In-fact dustbin was the likely destination.
Sitting at the park, I began reflecting back on the setbacks and humiliation I had gone through. I had two options: either to quit and go back to my small village or to keep fighting.It was at this point that the story of the children of Israel became my strength in making the decision.
Having left Egypt to the Promised Land full of milk and honey, their journey was not a smooth one. Many got tired and died in the wilderness, others lost faith and hope to a point of desiring to go back to Egypt. But the few that kept the hope and trust moved on with Joshua.
They may have failed many times but never did they give in to the voice of negativity, they matched on even with pain. The following scripture also encouraged me that in my tiredness and low moments, God remains to be God: He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youth grow tired and weary, and young men stubble and fall; but those who hope in the lord will renew their strength. Isaiah 40:29-31 (new international version).
I can testify that the lord renewed my failed strength. He restored the hope of applying again; yes I chose the latter option. Full of new determination I resolved to keep keeping on, and one week later God did the miracle, I received a call for an interview. I made it not just with one job but three to choose from. This is a true story that has kept my resolve and determination alive in hard times.
Be encouraged and remain resilient in what you desire to achieve. Never surrender nor get tired. God is fighting for you.

I did notice several punctuation errors, but they did not distract from your storytelling ability.
A couple of spelling errors in the third last paragraph. Those tricky kind where misspelling a word creates a different word: "they matched on" and "young men stubble and fall". The latter amused me. :)
