Mandy is 32 years old and everything has worked out according to plan, except for the arrival of their second child.
"Lord, why the delay? It has been five years, is there something wrong with me?"
Mandy knew better than to question the Lord about the things she does not understand, but she needs an answer…and now. For more than three years they have prepared themselves for the last addition to their family, however, nothing happened. Ben came so quickly, the decision was barely taken to start with a family and she was already pregnant, but now? It just does not make sense. The doctors cannot find anything wrong and yet nothing happens.
"Mommy, are you coming with me and Daddy to go listen to Uncle Brian today?" Brian is Mandy younger brother who is the pastor at their local church. Always excited to serve the Lord and His children.
"Sure, honey, give mommy five minutes and we will go. Call daddy so long and tell him to start the engine..."
"Lord, I am confused, I need an answer, please shed some light for me in this darkness I am in?"
Mandy, Jake and Ben sat in their usual spots in the second row close to the aisle. Mandy had to use every ounce of energy to focus on the message and not to question God about the part of her plan that is not happening. "Lord, help me to hear Your voice today..."
He next moment, Brian’s words brought her back to the present, "...maybe that is you?"
Mandy felt a shiver run down her back, it felt like Brian was talking to her alone, but what about her.
All ears, Mandy listens, "God's is not limited by time. He operates outside of it. One day for us could be like a year for Him and one year for us could be like one day for Him. Do not limit Him to your timing, as His timing is always perfect. It is like I often hear...God is always late on time. Let's no longer put God inside a box of when and how He should answer our prayers. Rather hold back on your demands and just allow God to show you His ways and His timing.
In that moment, Mandy's eyes opened for the first time, "Okay Lord, I will wait to let Your will be done, not mine."

God's will and God's timing go hand in hand
I noticed some comma errors (we all have them) yet I encourage you to check out Jan's writing basics on the Forum. The lessons have helped me a lot.
One example: You wrote...
Mandy, Jake and Ben
Proper comma placement:
Mandy, Jake, and Ben
Keep up the writing. Nice job.
I see you had some constructive criticism on grammar so I won't repeat. This week, I wasn't able to utilize my preview so I had to submit as is. I hope my site is fixed by next week. Please utilize the preview over and over and over again. You won't have those fixable mistakes. Why detract from a wonderful story? All the best!
