Topic: Write in the HUMOR genre (04/12/07)
Life is a funny thing the way that things come our way and how we response to it. We really do think that the driver in front of that driving slow knows that we are late. Maybe, if we had left in plenty of time to get there, we would not be stressing over a safe driver.

I visit my friend quite often, but when her phone rings, the person always what was she doing and she'll reply, nothing. What am I now, nothing?

Often when babies are born, and the parents bring them home, for some reason some parent believes that they don't want to sleep alone. Let us be real, they can't talk but some way these little darling let us know that they don't want to sleep in their own bed. My thing is, most come from the hospital where they slept in this little plastic bed that almost look like a bread box; you would think that a new large bed would be an upgrade.

Babies should run for politic office for they have such power over people. They cry to get attention, but not when you standing there looking at what a wonderful child he or she is, but they wait until you have sat down or in the middle of something important to sound their alarm.

Psychologist have said that women talk almost twice as much as men. But did they study pastors and deacons, for when I sometime get to church a little late, I have to stand in my heels that look good but are painful to stand in, and the deacon will pray for fifteen mintues. I think that God telling me be on time. Pastor on the other hand talk a lot, some have jokes before sermon, some have jokes during the sermon, some have jokes after the sermon but guess what I came to get a Word from God and not a comedy show.

I hope that these made you smile because thinking about them always make me smile then pray that God will give me the patience to walk through every day.

Sounds like "stand up" comedy. Jokes with punch lines. This would be good material for comedians.

So much truth here! I hope you don't mind me pointing out a couple of things that will help you grow as a writer. Subject/verb agreement - like "pastor talk a lot" should be "pastors talk" or "pastor talks" and "Psychologist have said" should be "psychologists have said" or "a psychologist has said". Also, you've got a few places where it seems a word is missing. A careful proofreading, or reading it out loud will help you catch these. You did make me smile - I like your humor. Keep up the good work!
