I am distracted.

Instead of reading your word
I struggle finding my purpose.

I worry and I fear.

I harbor bitterness and anger.

I remember the past.

I feel unworthy and unloved.

I say things I often regret.

I pretend everything is perfect on the outside when inside…

I engage in meaningless activities throughout the day.

Lord, help me to remember that my time here is temporary and that I must prepare myself for eternity. What better way to do that than by reading and digging deep into YOUR word, for that is where I will find all of the answers.
