calls my name
every day,
nagging,
dragging me down,
as it bombards my mind
with negative
and despairing thoughts,
and fills my heart
with anger and bitterness,
keeping me under duress.
It’s time
for me to find
the way to heal.
Reeling,
it’s time for dealing
with the inner pain
that keeps calling my name.
I pray,
and I mean pray,
revealing,
all I’ve been concealing.
Honest and raw,
holding nothing back
from the One who truly understands,
as I place my hurts in his hands.
I rest,
trust he knows best,
waiting,
anticipating
what he has for me.
I sense his touch
and feel assured
this healing is mine to claim
from the One who knows my name.
It’s soothing,
this peace is moving
through my heart and mind.
Healing
is a wonderful feeling.
Embrace such serenity,
peacefulness,
revel in the calm,
bask in this healing balm.
