a fresh wind I long for
a fresh breath
from You alone
as I journey on this life
I realise
how poor I am
in the things of the Spirit
how little the fruit
I have yielded
A fresh touch
of Your Spirit
that I may walk
and not weary
in my fellowship with You
Renewed strength is my desire
press on press on
like a pilgrim
knowing that this world
not my home
Help me walk in faith
not by sight
run but not weary
with revived
body soul and mind
Your mercies and grace
new every way and every day
sustain my hungry soul
and tired body
I pray
Lord, revive my spirit
that I may serve
You and others
with new energy
and fresh zeal
Above all
send me Your fresh breath
and fill me afresh
that I may worship
and praise You in Spirit and in truth
Unto You
I surrender my life
underspent
and underused
in exchange for Your new breath
Accept Jesus as Your Savior Right Now and be Certain of Eternal Life.
