My name is Jeannie Kirchen. I have been writing poetry since I was ten years old. I started writing children's stories when I was nineteen and pregnant for my first child. I just recently became a published author in an anthology written by Writing at the Ledges, a group of 24 talented people. Our new book is called "Seasons of Life". Whereas, the authors of this book and myself have become great friends, I am looking to be a part of a group of writers that are Christian based and God oriented. Hopefully this group will be all that I want and more. I have been a Christian for over forty years and I love to express my love for God in the words that I write. My husband and I, together, have six children and seven grandchildren, another grandchild is expected in July. I love the outdoors, animals and the beauty of God's creation. I love to read, write and knit in my spare time.
