Vicki Phipps is a motivated and inspired writer whose work ethic is based on the fact that it’s the reader who determines whether or not a piece of writing is well written. Based on that fact, she guarantees her work to be well received, or she’ll pay the buyer back. Like her favorite author, Erma Bombeck, she creatively describes the ironies of life through the wisdom that comes from hard earned experience, but with a humorous twist which tends to be well received by her readers. Until four years ago when she retired on disability from teaching, her writing was confined to the journal she kept by her side, but today at the age of fifty-two, she’s more aware and prepared to share her views. Besides, she finally has the time. It’s been through her life experience of being an ordinary woman who survived more than a few extraordinary times, that gave her the ability to write with insight. No one can provide more insightful writing on how to find a blessing in disguise than Vicki Phipps. Her life, as a legally blind mother of three and a cancer survivor gave her the inspiration to write, but the motivation comes from being someone who chooses to live abundantly blessed, even within a retired teacher’s disability income. With these facts in mind, the fact remains that no one could be more motivated to write by the light of her magnified computer screen, than Vicki Phipps will always be. Day and night, she writes on the topics of surviving the enigmatic issues which often arrive within otherwise normal lives. Many of her published articles at Helium on parenting, education, marriage, divorce, disabilities, being victimized, surviving and the big mistakes ordinary people make, have been well received and highly ranked. That’s why today she claims to be victim free. Accomplishments and Qualifications: * Well received articles for web sites * Education sub-channel steward for Helium.com * Writer of more than 500 articles on the Internet * First place winner of several writing contests at Helium.com on a variety of subjects. * Honorable mention in the 76th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Contest * A Bachelor of Science in Education degree * Specialization in speech and language pathology * A minor in psychology * Certified in special education * Texas teacher certification * Retired from a twenty-five year career in special education Beyond this list of accomplishments, the key to Vicki’s writing style comes from what she’s survived. She describes it as, “the enigmatic blessing in disguise,” so if you need a well written and insightful piece of writing, please contact Vicki Phipps.
