What Sayest Thou

In St. John 8:1-7 Jesus was presented with questions that attempted to take his mind off of what he had come to do here in the earth. Accusations were being made against one person who they evidently wanted Jesus to be distracted by; but what did Jesus do? He kept his eyes off of the situation being presented to him and focused his attentions on God, His Father.

We as the people of God are so easily distracted by things that we should not bother with. We listen to what everybody has to say about what matters in our lives but we never consider in most cases to see what God’s Word says about the situation. In His Word is everything that pertains to life for man. The animals have man to tend them, the trees depend on man to be planted, the flowers also depends on man for proper nourishment and care, but man has God and God ultimately takes care of all things for man. So why do we God’s greatest and last created thing seek God as our last resort? We should seek God first in all things that concern us for every situation in life.

God can bring you to a situation and bring you out of it, but when God speaks will you know it? Do we give proper respect to the questions God asks us or do we respond negatively? God tells us to speak to our situations. Do you know that when you speak as God says speak to the situation you will cause a reaction that will cause life to come into that situation again if indeed it was dead? If God said it that is what it will be.

God speaks love, joy and peace to everything in our lives. When He breathe His Word on anything in our lives that happens or will happen; it is filled with his love peace and joy that comes in like a flood. He will shut down all of the noise and situations that seemed hopeless. Some things have to happen first. Then after you would have followed God’s directions and instructions the proper results will come forth. There is nothing God will withhold from you when you obey Him. What are you going to do? We know that disobedience negates the results negatively concerning the things we have been promised. In the process of waiting on God to bring forth the promise, prophesy on the right things. The things we need are dead because we are not saying what God says concerning it while it was a viable living source. God’s promises are yea and amen!

When you come out of your hiding place in the closet of sin, the place where you died deep in sin, your comfort zone will be turned upside down and you will do what God has said to you. We give the wrong attention to things in life that is not important and cause negative effects with God before we realize it; for we fail to realize the simple things we put before God.

What sayest thou? God will do whatever he said and you shall live again when all of your hope has died and your hope is now His hope. Line your life up with the Word, hope thou in God. Are you willing to go where God wants you with your whole mind, body, soul, and spirit? Or do you offer resistance? Do you have a place of exile where only you and God are welcome? Separating yourself from the noise of life will bring you to a place where God will be pleased and he will use you.
You will need the watering of the Word to sustain your Christianity. Water, Oil, and Reasoning Developed in the life of the believer is the spoken WORD.

The Devil uses us and then exposes us as born again sinners to bring a reproach against God then leave us to die, to be ate up and devoured. The Christian is dead as dead can get when we do not water our lives with the Word and guess what; rather we realize it or not even sinners knows when we have not been in the Word and they mock us. Our disobedience is more observed and noticeable than we think. Instead of being a growing Christian we are a dying sinner hiding behind the Word. God never said get behind the Word, but he did say let His Word abide in us richly. His Word is needed to water our lives everyday so that our hope in God does not die.

Our hope keeps our faith alive and builds our trust in God and what He says. Our whole total being is built upon nothing less than Jesus Christ and He crucified. God does and works with things impossible to mankind. He did create man with dry dirt but he added His Spirit by breathing in man and man became a living soul.
