Internet Problems
Today, for whatever mysterious reason, time and time again as I tried to access the internet, I could not do so successfully. I plugged and unplugged the cable modem box. I down-powered and re-booted. I verified the payment on the bill (don’t laugh, we all probably have that split second where we wonder “Did I?”)
Fifth time through, I finally got the connection. I could not have been gladder to see the connection instead of the essage “Cannot Find Server”. Then, suddenly I wondered if the Lord feels the same way when He looks for a server…. Are His eyes roaming to and fro to find the faithful who will do His bidding, be His hands, His feet, His voice?
Quite a lot to ponder.... but I decided to let Him know:
“Lord – I'm over here - it’s me!” I am yelling, waving my arms. “Here I am. At your service. Pick me!”
