LET THE REVIVAL BEGIN IN ME

Lord, let the revival begin in me
By delivering me and setting me free
From my own disappointments and heartaches;
Help me to overcome all of my failures and mistakes.
Let the revival begin in my home
By helping me to stop gossiping on the phone.
Let the revival begin in my workplace
By helping me to accept and face
The saved and unsaved too
Regardless of who they are or what they may do
To cause me grief, sorrow, harm and hurt,
And even when they trod my very existence in the dirt
Making me feel as if I'm less the others;
Let me still be able to treat them as my sisters and brothers.
Let the revival begin in every word that I speak
With encouragement, inspiration and strength to the weak.
Let the revival begin in all that I do
By allowing Your love to shine through
Even in the midst of sorrow and pain
And in the midst of life's storms and rain.
Let the revival begin in me, my heart, body, soul, and mind
So that when I'm mistreated, I can still be kind.
Let the revival begin in every part of my life
Through thanksgiving and praise even in the midst of turmoil and strife.
Let the revival begin in the way I forgive.
Let the revival begin in the way I live.
Let the revival show in the way that I talk;
Let it begin to show in the way that I walk.
Let the revival begin in me
By reaching down to set me free
From all of my bad habits, selfish desires and evil ways.
Let the revival begin in my thanksgiving and praise.

Nice job! If every Christian realized that revival begins with personal repentance, the Body of Christ would experience real revival.
