what's this Glory stuff,
all ABOUT?"

"Me, child."

"Yeah, but PEOPLE can't
HAVE it!"

[NOD.]

"Uh, UH!"

"Yes, My precious."

"UH, UH!"

"Yes."

(Irritable look*.)
"Okay: HOW?"

[LONG PAUSE.]
[WISE GAZE.]
"First, My little one
might start by speaking
to her Lord, with more
reverence."

(Snort!)
(Whiny screech.)
"But, I don't TALK,
that WAY......
L...O....R....D!"
(Another screech.)
You KNOW that!"

[PATIENT SIGH.]

"I'm from West PHILLY!"
(Nasal whine.)
"We don't TALK, that way:
that LA-DE-DA STUFF!"

[WISE LOOK.]
"I know exactly,
where you are from,
My child."

"Yeah."
(Murmur.)
(Mumble.)
"Yeah, well....sometimes,
Ya don't ACT like it....."
(Mumble.)

[CURIOUS SQUINT**.]
"What was that, child?"

(Mumble.)
"I didn't say nothin'!"

"SO?
When's this GLORY gonna
come DOWN?
And, fill.... ME?"

"It already has,
My beloved."

(Clueless squint.)
(Long pause.)
"I quess, it's that GAS,
I've been feelin',
huh."

"Oy vey."

[SILENCE.]

(Silence.)

"Hey, LORD?"

My precious?"

"Happy Groundhog Day!"
