d'Ya think I'm TALKIN'
ABOUT: MINE!"

[PATIENT NOD.]

(Roll eyes dramatically.)
(Yell loudly up at ceiling.)
"What d'Ya think I'm
talkin' about: MARS?"
(Roll eyes, once more.)
(Kvetchy glare up at heating vent.)
"HUH?"
(Hold palms up, not in
prayer, but in sarcasm.)
Do I look like a MARTIAN,
to YOU?"

(Smile.)
(Chuckle.)
(Shake scruffy head.)
"Why did Ya give me
this weird sense a'
humor, Lord?"

[WISE SMILE!]

(Sigh.)
"Couldn't Ya given
me LOOKS, or INTELLIGENCE,
or......ATHLETIC ability.....?"

[GENTLE SMILE.]

"Ya know: somthin'
I could'a USED."

[NOD.]
"I did give you something,
child."

(Laugh!)
(Turn palms up to ceiling, again.)
"YEAH?
WHAT?"

[GENTLE CHUCKLE.]
"You're using it:
