Encouragement

Tears tumble from my eyes,
splattering the page I am trying to read.
Tears like an ever-flowing waterfall.
A river of pain flows to the sea
Straight from the heart, the heart of me.


The more I cry, the more I feel.
I cannot close the floodgates.
Nor should I.
Let it flow.
Feeling the pain is necessary if I am ever to feel life again.

Cry, cry about your sorrow
Cry out to your Maker
Give it all to Him

Wrestle through the feelings – the anger, hatred, regret,
the disbelief…..
Shout to Him in the darkness of night.

Knock on the door for understanding – knock until your knuckles bleed.

Persist, push through – past the pain –
For there just beyond where you would give up, the answer is waiting,
And in the answer, there is life.


~~~~~ to all who grieve, find your comfort in Him. He shall dry your eyes, and plant the seeds of hope in your heart once again.
