I cried for Jesus

I hear you knocking at my door
The sound is faint yet I hear it all the more
I hear you knocking at my door
Though I lie in a bed of tears
I hear it, as it echoes to my core

I hear you knocking at my door
At last my King you have come
I hear you knocking on my door
Whispering sweet words of life-
Gently calling, “it’s finished, it’s done”.

The presence of the Spirit, Father and Son
Enter the crevices to whisper, “Well done.”
“You’ve kept the faith and you’ve run the race
You’ve counted it all joy and remained in the Way
Now today is your day…

“I have prepared a table for you.”

“Lord Jesus, the words I have are too few
to describe just how grateful I am for you“
“I am ashamed at all the tears I’ve cried now that you have come through…”

But He said,

“Your tears showed no fear
they bellowed out for my touch
and were shed from a heart of love
Your bountiful tears held on to my Name
For they were shed from a heart of Faith
Hence, your cry became a song of praise
And your sweet silent tears prayed.”

At these words I open the door. And The Holy One enters in his wonderful array. He smiles at me. His tender lips curve into a beautiful smile. Even His eyes smile. The glow of His face…With His smile my heart cracks open and I am filled with such joy that can never be unexplained …only experienced. Wow. He looks to me more fairer that the lilies of the valley. I stand immersed in the beauty of the Holy One of Israel. And as if to tell Him just how beautiful I find Him I start to open my lips. But all I can utter is a solemn ‘Jesus’…
