When life seems to attack you on every hand,
And it seems that no one cares or understands
The problems you're facing or what you're going through
As you struggle to be right in all that you do;
That's when you're walking down the right road
Because Satan is making efforts to increase your load.
When it seems confusion turns your home upside down,
And peace is nowhere to be found
In your many efforts to bring unity among family and friends,
But another war forms before one can end;
That's when you're being used by God
Because Satan is trying to make your way hard.
When it seems the whole world has turned against you,
And there is failure and disappointment in all you do,
That's when God is proving His strength and power
Because Satan is causing distress in your every awakened hour.
So, don't let the troubles of this world press you down
When Satan seems to be just hanging around
To bring confusion, division and stress in your life
By commanding attacks of pain, heartache and strife
Because that's when God is at His best,
And Satan is in an uproar, unable to rest
Because He knows that you belong to God,
And in the end, you'll be the victor after he's tried so hard
To turn you back, to make you backslide;
That's when you'll be assured that God is on your side.
