Oh to be out from under the bondage of complacency...that evil thief that steals my ardor for you.

Drown out the hollering voice of the "Urgent!", so that I can remember the sound of your still small voice.

Help me to quit stalling and remember my purpose.

Lord, you are my first love.
You are my priority.
Serving you should be my #1 heart’s desire,
not out of compulsion, but in joyful response.

Remind me again to love you with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.
Not half-heartedly – but zealously, fervently pursuing a relationship with you.

Not one more minute do I want to waste!

Lord, immerse me in your mercy,
Wrap me in your grace,
fill me with delight as I bask in your presence,
for I am yours.
