A divine Creator created a creation that is losing its mind by trying to contain the Creator! Here he is, large beyond any creative thought, yet the creature won't let Him be himself!

We humans come up with our business plans, and attempt to design plans of action that are good and sensible courses of action for PEOPLE to follow. Where we err is in expecting God to always go with our ideas of how to accomplish His work.

The only part of the Almighty God that is designed to stay inside of a human is that His Spirit is designed to be inside of our spirit, and that is it! Any other kind of containment on our part is not good. We may have his heart to some respect, but even that can limit Him, because the biggest fallacy of humanity is this notion that His mind will stay within our bounds of logic.

When God calls someone to His service, he is inside the mind just enough to get them to see what He wants them to do. Once He has that mind firmly hooked on that concept, he takes off. Once He has us in tow, it is only our part to let Him go! God tells the servant three things:
1) This is what I want you to do
2) Maintenance of your life's needs is MY problem
3) DON'T tell ME how to do that!

The wild and hairy adventure of obeying a known leading will get needlessly scary and painful when the called believer doesn't let the Creator take him through the adventure of growth by His means. Conventional wisdom is something God will use in some ways, but something He will toss aside in others. There will be pain to teach character, poverty to teach contentment and wild stretching to teach a believer how to trust Him to provide for needs without constraining His ways to human logical limits.

I know of a belief system that contains God to concepts. He is a person, not a concept, leading me to say that worship of a concept is NOT his idea of true worship. No wonder that group is struggling. They are not meeting the truly human needs of the human soul to worship God as they were created to.

While we have a grasp of His thoughts and ways, we never have containment!
