The rock band was in the recording studio to make an album. They needed 12 songs to complete, and had 11 of them down on tape. They scratched their heads, thought about it, and decided to use a piece they often performed at wedding receptions to complete the session. Not that they thought much of it, but it completed the job. "Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter" put Herman's Hermits on the charts as their first big hit, with that funky mute guitar sound. There was something they needed that they didn't think much of but it made the difference between early failure and success!

The rhythm and blues band just finished a very first song, but didn't like it. They asked the studio owner to name something that stunk. "Green Onions stink", she said, so they named it Green Onions, and it took them by surprise, jetting up the sales charts, and making Booker T & the MG's a household name. There was something they did well, but didn't like at all, but it made the difference in their lives, gaining them the recognition they sought as an instrumental bad.

2000 years ago, someone came into history and made himself an object of hatred to some, showing their hypocrisy, and to all, their need of Him. Some people don't think much of Him, some outright don't like Him, but to those who receive Him He turns, and continues to turn, their lives into something worth living! It only takes a try to see what Jesus can do for a soul, turning an existence into an abundant life! He stands outside the heart, knocking at the door, asking to come in.

What the two bands did with a song, you can do with a Person, and it will make all the difference in the world!
