The Life You Have Been Waiting For
(A word from Jesus)

We’ve come a long way together, a great distance, you and I.
Through deserts stark and scorching and places dry as dust
We’ve journeyed on and on.
Faith, Hope and Love were our compass guide.
Grace was My Shelter for you.

Many sorrows sprang up along the way
And the tears you cried at times seemed enough to fill a river.
Yes, we’ve come a long way together, a great distance, you and I.
And though you may be wearied by life’s travels, fear not, for you will be refreshed.

It is time to journey on...

Yet we travel together now from a new place of joyful strength and trust.
You will see that I have painted the way ahead with brilliant hues
Vistas so stunningly broad and high and deep
It will take your breath away!

Then you and I will just laugh at the wonder of it all.
Welcome, my friend, into the Life of True Commitment and True Love.

The desert way is behind you. I have dammed up your tears.
Your time of weeping will reap a harvest of joy.
Your tears are no longer a reflection of sorrow and trial, but of hope and new life.

It is time to experience exciting adventures with me
As amazing as the great catch of fish my fellow travelers once discovered long ago.
It is time to know in fullness My All Sufficient Goodness
And to enter with happy, anticipating energy and faith into
The Life You Have Been Waiting For.
