In the night winds
I whispered to the waiting heavens
In the rushing air and
the rustling of leaves in the trees
I stepped from My Citadel
on the sides of the north.
Racing across dark turbulence
I climbed stormy mountains in the skies
and laughed as My Footprints flashed
amidst the towering gloom
chasing rain from its hiding place
and drenching the gasping earth below.
As tempest torrents swelled
and great waters fell
refreshing the thirsty land below
I shook cool droplets from My Robes
then rising in a shimmering blaze
of gold-blue-violet-rose beauty
My Voice echoing like
thunder at dawn
resounded loudly
lifting up with joy divine
to greet the shimmering sun
and sing of a new day.
