Dandelion Days
Don’t feel
Lonely
When the cold winds come
When wild flowers
Turn to dust.
Feel free!
One day a wind
Like the Spirit
Will lift you up
To the heavens
Like dandelion seeds
Blown lightly on
Sweet prairie breezes
Carrying you to
Broad vistas unimagined
Welcoming you to a
Whole new life and home in a
Different springtime.
