Do you ever feel down, on the long march of faith?
Are you tempted to think, "My Master delayeth"?
Do you feel all alone in an alien world?
Take comfort!! True solace is found in God's Word.

In this world we have trouble but be of good cheer;
Jesus always is with us; we've nothing to fear;
The dark powers of Hell can never defeat
The ransomed of Christ whom the Good Shepherd keeps.

He has poured out His Spirit to comfort and lead,
To conform us to Jesus in thought, word and deed;
We are not left as orphans to fend on our own;
He is here by His Spirit to guide us all home.

None will ever be lost whom Christ has redeemed;
By His Spirit, His people forever are sealed.
Glory and honour and praise and thanksgiving,
Our hope is secure in the God of the living!!

When the trumpet shall sound and we shall be raised,
Our glorious hope is no longer delayed:
Forever we'll dwell in the presence of God:
Rejoice and be glad!! He has given His Word!!
