Sufficient for the Day

Sufficient for the day
Troubles that come my way
And blue skies that turn gray

Sufficient for the day
The blessings received for today
And the strength for come what may

Sufficient for the day
The times I will go astray
And the sins that I will replay

Sufficient for the day
The guidance back to the Narrow Way
And the grace I can never repay

For all the worries of today
So too the blessings come this way
Listen to what God’s Words say

Sufficient for the day…


Family in Christ,

Which of you gain by worry? I am joyful, not because of my circumstance, but because of the hope that resides in Jesus. Into life rain must fall and with it comes the rainbow.

Quit focusing on tomorrow’s worry or yesterday’s sorrows. Focus instead on the promise that sufficient for the day is the blessing that God will give to you. For every obstacle and trial you will receive the strength to endure.
